Dennis McLean is the Founder of McLean & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, serving small business, families and individual clients. Dennis’s professional experience includes working with clients with accounting, auditing, financial reporting, controllership, income tax, technology and employee benefit services. Current and past clients of McLean & Associates include small business start-ups, corporate executives, city managers, retirees, students and high-income and net worth clients. Dennis has also served a southern California city as its finance and technology director. Prior to moving to California, Dennis served clients in Michigan as a partner of a regional CPA firm and CFO of a multimillion dollar agribusiness and commuter airline.

Dennis is an avid cyclist, enjoys film, music and sports. Dennis has served as a part-time Adjunct Faculty Professor at CSU Dominguez Hills, teaching advanced accounting and taxation. Dennis is a member of AICPA Tax Section, AICPA Not For profit Section, Certified Global Management Accountant Section of the AICPA, California Society of Municipal Finance Officers, and CalCPA’s.

Aaron McLean has been serving as a Senior Tax Advisor for McLean & Associates since its inception. Aaron is a graduate of CSU Long Beach, obtaining a Bachelor of Business administration degree with a concentration in Accounting. Aaron is a member of the California Society of CPA’s and a CPA candidate. Aaron has nearly a decade of experience serving clients in the world of certified public accounting, management services and taxation. His client experiences have included real estate, service businesses, insurance and especially the entertainment and music industry.

Aaron is an avid athlete who loves to swim, kayak, mountain bike and paddleboard. Aaron also hikes, backpacks and enjoys music.

Brenda is a recent graduate of CSU Dominguez Hills with an accounting degree after enduring several courses taught by Professor Dennis McLean, the founder of McLean & Associates. Brenda has more than 5-years’ experience serving businesses and individuals with accounting and tax preparation serving businesses and individuals. Brenda is the firm’s expert QuickBooks professional with skill and experience with both desktop and on-line versions of QuickBooks. Brenda is a CPA candidate. She also maintains her own accounting and tax practice based in Long Beach.

Brenda enjoys reading, learning, hiking and relaxing with what southern California has to offer.
